Keyword Research Software: Choosing the right keywords when advertising on Pay Per Click (PPC) search engines is essential, but nowadays, it is becoming increasingly difficult to find keywords that aren't too expensive, and can generate a good Return On Investment (ROI). There are many different keyword research tools available which claim to assist in finding these 'golden' 5c keywords, but many of them are nothing more than Overture's Keyword and Bid Tools' results splurged into a software. I've been marketing on PPC search engines for some time now and have tested every keyword research tool out there. After seeing so many of them under-deliver, I decided to created a review site to share with other PPC marketers, which keyword research software will give them the best of these untapped platinum keywords. Below I have reviewed only the best keyword research software available. Don't take the risk of buying a software which delivers trashy results; only purchase those that I have reviewed below to be sure that you achieve the best possible results in your campaigns. |

Adword Accelerator allows you to quickly and easily find lateral and vertical keywords related to top level keyword you have though of, and with just one click, you can find out the expected clicks per day, grabbed from the Google system, and the expected average position you will get based on the amount you type in. After trying the software out for myself, I was generating variations on expensive keywords, on which the bid prices were 5c, within minutes. The bid prices are taken from the Google's system itself and not from Overture like most other software. The interface is very simple to work with, especially with their step by step video tutorials to guide you every step of the way. If you're going to purchase any keyword research tool, make sure this is the one. I found no flaws. |
Keyword Locator is a solid piece of software and it is very easy to uncover untapped niches with this software using its built in Results : Searches ratio. The software pulls search volumes and bids from Overture, so it is not as useful to Adwords users as Adword Accelerator is. It has the ability to export data and show the number of competing ads in Overture and Google for the chosen keyword, both of which is included in Adword Accelerator. Keyword Locator is good for finding a lot of unrelated keywords, and is probably more useful if you advertise on Overture, FindWhat, Enhance and the other PPC engines rather than Adwords. With this tool it is possible to discover 5c keywords, but Adword Accelerator makes the process a whole lot easier. |
Adword Analyzer was one of the first keyword research tools available on the market but has been updated since its inception. It mines data from Overture and the Google Sandbox, and displays the number of Overture and Google competing ads. You can set a dig level in this software so that Adword Analyzer will look up related keywords to your first keyword, and then go through each keyword found and find more keywords related to those keywords. This is good to generate a lot of keywords, but I prefer Adword Accelerator's 'recycle' tool which generates more targeted keywords and more thematic keywords, which are better if you are using Adwords. This tool is reserved for only advanced users who know how to put it to good use. |

Why Adword Accelerator : Okay folks, I'm not going to beat around the bush, Adword Accelerator is the top dog as far as I'm concerned. It gets to the point and generates lots of cheap, but highly targeted keywords in a step-by-step fashion, and the videos not only teach you how to use the software to get the most from it, but also teach some valuable lessons on how to run a successful pay per click campaign. These guys are Adwords professionals and this can be seen from the unbeatable flow of the software, and the thematic way keywords are generated. Adword Accelerator is straight forward and easy to use. The feature I like most is the ability to find the bids for each position on each keyword in the Adwords system. The software also includes a misspelling generator, and a 'view ads' box where you can see your competitors ads. The tool also allows you to see which of those ads are getting clicks, and a way to determine which ads are getting a high click thru rate. Check out their videos for more info on how they do this! If you want to succeed in your campaigns, and want the best keywords, I wouldn't purchase any software other than Adword Accelerator, it's the best, and nothing less. |
